SIN stem Q&A

Question and Answer (Q&A):

1) Why is the stem so expensive comparing to other brand of stem?

Answer: In Portugal, the stem is retail at 73 Euro. After having a conversion rate to Singapore currency, it will be $146. The $146 is not inclusive of shipment charges yet.

2) Does the stem come with any form of warranty?

Answer: We have check with Mutant Bikes, and it does have limited Warranty for the original owner of the stem. And the front load bolts maximum force to tighten is 18 newton-meter. Any tightening beyond 18 newton-meter will cause the bolts to break.

3) What does the Limited warranty does not cover?

Answer: Defects in materials or workmanship caused by misuse, abuse or neglect or illegal modification on the stem.

4) How does customer claim the warranty?

Answer: As we are currently the agent for mutant bikes. Any warranty issue, kindly e-mail or called Mr. Zola. For any faulty stem to be replaced, the shipment charges will be bear by the customer. The replacement stem will only send back to customer after mutant bikes acknowledged it and when Mr. Zola had received it. So, meaning it will have some bluffing in time.

Note: The broken stem need to be inspected by Mr Zola to determine whether it is faulty or not. And not just by sending Mr Zola any Jpeg or MMS picture or e-mail to determine. And Mr. Zola will need to e-mail to Mutant bikes and then, he will reply the customer. Will appreciate some patience on this issue.
